Founded in 2023 officially after there had been an increase in demand of tourism in the Local area. Mother (Janet) and daughter (Jenna) have brought together their experience and passion for home interior, property management and Marketing.
Mourne homestay’s aim is to lead the way for private home accommodation in the Mourne’s and maybe further afield someday.
Janet originally from the city of Belfast but made her way to the Mourne’s where she met Jim her childheart sweatheart living in Mourne from the age of 16.
After nearly 40 year of running a success construction company, with husband Jim, has now decided to partner with Daughter Jenna for their new venture.
Jenna grew up in the heart of the Mourne’s countryside, where she spent most of her childhood in Mourne park, which is now open for the public to enjoy. Jenna has been on an entrepreneur journey for 15 year now, which lead her to traveling and working around the world. Bringing her new found skill back to Mourne.
Jenna and janet still the core team today, they will meet and great you and make sure you have a true Mourne experience.

Jenna also the Founder of local social enterprise Made in Mourne and creative market agency KIN Creative.
We will never be stuck for ideas. We have a fabulous team surrounding us and excited to see how Mourne Homestays grows over the years to come.
